The secretariat of the lieutenant governor of Delhi has criticized the refusal of Delhi ministers to attend two meetings called by the LG to discuss issues of public importance on the grounds that the model code of conduct was in force. The LG's secretariat stated that several important matters, such as public health infrastructure and the summer action plan for water availability, were being discussed in the public domain, prompting the LG to call the meeting of key ministers dealing with water, education, health, transport, and environment and forest departments. The secretariat has written to the Ministry of Home Affairs, expressing concern over the ministers' refusal to attend the meetings.
