It's time to check in Hunger Mappers.I hope you had a wonderful restful nights sleep! I know it's not always easy to always wake up feeling motivated, so I'm here to be your morning hunger mapper zen master.Today is going to be such a great day. This is just a reminder if you're feeling that early morning struggle to make good choices, remember; eating when you're actually physically hungry is the way to go. Eating for any other reason then physical hunger; is just your mind trying really really hard to hold on to the old dysfunctional ways.But no fear, you've got what it takes and the strength to build the life you want. Remember, one mindful, self-compassionate choice at a time will build an amazing, healthy momentum!If those unhealthy cravings or that I don't care voice starts chiming in, pause and do a quick mental check-in. What's really going on? Are you stressed, bored, sad? Get curious about what need your brain is trying to meet with food that it shouldn't be.Then immediately redirect! Call up a friend for an AM chat, take 5 minutes to meditate or journal, or crank up some pump-up music and have a dance party. Whatever engages your mind and body in a feel-good way that isn't eating.Remember, be kind to yourself. This is hard! But you've got an arsenal of hunger mapping coping strategies that don't involve bingeing. So ride out those waves of cravings, keep your eyes on the prize of feeling energized and accomplished, and tap into your support system when needed.You've got this!
